I currently utilize the Teaching Strategies curriculum in my daily program. My goal is to provide your child a loving environment in which stimulates learning through many activities, so your little one will posses the readiness to be fully prepared to enter kindergarten. I belong to a food program which ensures that the meals I serve your children meet the nutrition requirements established by the USDA. I also belong to a system in which provides training's so that I stay current on educational, behavioral, nutritional and health policies, and guidelines as required for EEC licensing. I am also CPR and First Aide certified. I have been licensed by EEC to care for children in my home. This means that, after investigating my background, visiting my home and collecting written references regarding my character and abilities, The Department of Early Care and Education (EEC) has given me the honor of holding a license to care for children in my home. In addition, I must adhere to their strict guidelines for excellence in child care.
I provide a variety of activities for the children each day. We have time for crafts, interactive group activities, free play, songs and stories. I have both indoor and outdoor toys and equipment available for play. Indoors there are a variety of blocks, books, musical instruments, dolls, tools, cars, computer games, etc. My backyard is fully fenced and equipped with a playhouse, slides, ride-on toys, balls, etc. We also go on many field trips, such as story time at our local library, we walk to the park near my home, and visit the various happenings at the BigE which is also in walking distance from my home. Following USDA guidelines, I also provide healthy meals and snacks for the children. I look forward to meeting with your and your child!
